CALISTHENICS FOR WEIGHT LOSS CAN BE VERY EFFECTIVE, AND MAKE THE PROCESS MORE FUN AND ENJOYABLE. MOST PEOPLE WHEN THEY HEAR THE PHRASE "CARDIO-WOROUT", OR "FAT BURNING EXERCISES" THEY IMMEDIATELY ASSOCIATE IT WITH RUNNING ON A TREADMILL, OR SPENDING AN HOUR ON A STATIONARY BIKE.  WHILE THESE METHODS CAN DO THE TRICK IN BURNING SOME CALORIES, THEY ARE ALSO EXTREMELY BORING. CALISTHENICS CAN BE A TERRIFIC WAY TO HELP BURN FAT AND GIVE YOU A VERY EFFECTIVE CARDIO WORKOUT.  THEY CAN BE PERFORMED ANYWHERE, AND YOU DON'T   NEED A FITNESS CLUB TO DO THEM IN.  DESIGNING A CIRCUIT ROUTINE OF A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT BODYWEIGHT EXERCISES, AND PERFORMING THEM WITH MINIMAL REST IN BETWEEN, WILL GET THAT HEART AND THOSE LUNGS PUMPING. EXERCISES SUCH AS JUMPING JACKS, STATIONARY HIGH KNEE JUMPS, BURPEES, PUSH-UPS, SIT-UPS, PULL-UPS AND SQUATS ARE JUST SOME OF THE MANY EXERCISES THAT CAN BE INCORPORATED INTO A CARDIO WORKOUT. THOSE OF YOU INTO THE MARTIAL ARTS CAN COMBINE THESE EXERCISES ALONG WITH THIER BASIC KARATE MOVEMENTS AS I DO.  HEAVY BAG WORK ALSO IS A FUN AND ADDICTING EXERCISE. AS LITTLE AS  A 10 TO 15 MIN WORKOUT ON A CONSISTENT SCHEDULE, AND EATING REAL NATURAL FOODS THAT INCLUDE A LOT OF FRUITS AND VEGGIES, AND LEAN PROTEIN, WILL GET YOU INTO GREAT SHAPE AND BE ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE AT THE SAME TIME. ONCE YOU START SEEING THOSE RESULTS, THERE WILL BE NO STOPPING YOU. I PROMISE.  YOU CAN BECOME A LEAN MEAN FAT BURNING FURNACE WITH THE PROPER PROGRAM AND THE WILL POWER TO CONTINUE.
